Fantastic pizza unlike any other
Ordered a DOC (tomato, buffalo mozzarella and basil) 17” with added anchovies. Delivery was really quick - 20 min before estimated time. Was expecting a round pizza, not rectangular, but can’t complain too much on that front. Overall excellent, especially the crust. Would have liked a few more anchovies (some slices didn’t have any). Didn’t taste anything special about buffalo mozzarella compared to any other mozzarella I’ve had, but it was good mozzarella nonetheless. The tomato sauce was a little too acidic, but it worked well with the salty anchovies, charred basil, and EVOO drizzle.
Love this authentic Italian cozy restaurant. Food is always delicious. Service is alays outstanding. Perfect weekday dinner spot for us.
I was told a 10 minute wait and ended up waiting 45 minutes. Food is great but the service is horrendous. Waiter is very rude and did not seem interested in providing even the least amount of service. This is unfortunate because the food is actually good but won't be coming back because of the service. We had to ask for utencils and water. At the end, when paying for the bill, the workers were arguing over tip in front of us. Will not be returning.
Definitely worth a try.
Very delicious I will mark this spot as favorite. The prices are hi compare to all others pizza places, but I don't mind to pay, it is very pleasant worth it.
Excellent. I haven't had pizza like this since I was in Italy last. NY has great pizza of different styles, but if you're looking for pizza the way its made in southern Italy, you really can't find better.
Delicious pizza, so happy to have found this place.Their cheesecake was not good at all, but pizza is on point.
I went to eat here to celebrate my daughter’s grades; usually she isn’t allowed to have caffeinated drinks but I made an exception due to the circumstances. She got a sprite, even though the waiter brought water. When I told him that it was a mistake, he proceeded to correct the drink and I saw him SPIT into my daughters sprite before bringing it out. Do not come to this place! So disgusting!
Pizza was excellent. You can bring your own wine. All of the food was great. We had a great time and they accomodated our large party even though the seating area is very small. Will definitely go back when we visit again.
My friend Richie who is from Sicily and lives in NHP told me that if I want to try authentic Italian brick oven pizza, that I have to go to Naples. So I went w my wife on Saturday afternoon and I must say, Finally! I found my home for authentic Italian pizza. Delicious! My wife and I enjoyed it. Highly recommend it. Eat your heart Umbertos, I’m done w / you.
Pizza is AMAZING!!! Love coming here.
I love their wood fired neapolitan pizzas! They have many options to choose from and the flavor combinations are great. My favorite is the Don Fa 😋
Simply awesome tasty pizza and pasta!
We had a graduation party for here and I can attest that all the food was delicious and plentiful. Everyone was satisfied and the service was fantastic. The waiters were always available and responsive to any request.
I went to this establishment with my 8 month old daughter and asked if they had any baby chairs. The waiter spat in my daughter's face and told me "there's your chair." Later, randomly while I was eating, the waiter yanked my seat from underneath me. 0/10. Would not recommend this to anyone.
I was hoping to like this place but when you place an order and specify no cheese 3 times, and then you see a pizza with cheese on it?? Doesn't end there. Instead of kindly telling us of the mistake... since we were waiting as the rest of our table got their order... Waitress waits to tell us 10 minutes later? Then our re-done pizza was burnt! Bad service, burnt pizza and tart sub-par sangria. We will not be returning.
I eat in this spot a lot since I work in the area. I like how their customer service is always great and they keep the spot neat constantly. Prices are convenient and they serve sizeable portions.
Absolutely amazing food. The chef came out and spoke with us and he was also great. Our server was more than that, was actually funny and not like most. His recommendation was on point. Will absolutely be back.
Loved it. Margarita pizza was amazing. Ll definitely cone back with family n friends. Thanks.
The food lives up to the restuarant's name. A hidden Jewel of a place in Franklin Square. Must try.
The D.O.C. pie was delicious and as authentic as you can get on Long Island. Highly recommended!
Small little hidden gem when you’re in the mood for a nostalgic experience of Italy as you crave for a good pizza. The music, decorations and even the water bottle poured in a glass cup helps bring you to a typical mom and pop pizza stop in the streets of Naples, Italy. It’s nothing fancy but the small establishment size and taste of old school Italian grandma cooking does bring back good memories of Sunday dinners. I loved the meatballs as the appetizer. The lamb meatball was moist and flavorful. The calzone I had was cooked perfectly and the dough was thin and just salted just right. Ordering the sausages and broccoli rabe is a true Naples combo to any pizza and calzone. Naples street food made a great effort with the design, decoration and quality of food to bring the customer to Napoli. Give it a try google readers!
Incredible the closest thing to authentic Italian pizza you can find in the United States.
spent $120 here to support local small business. my delivery was over an hour late and the food was terrible. i paid $15 for a calzone, they forgot my side sauce & it was basically just a big slab of dough. my zeppole’s were hard and did not taste good at all. this place is way over priced with bad quality. will never order from here again
Cozy place, nice for a romantic evening. Bring your own alcohol.
Great pizza and salads. Worth the money
Excellent food! Service isn't enthusiastic but nice enough to keep coming g back!
6 people, 6 pizza, everyone amazing! A great little place.
A $32 pizza?! Yup, and worth every penny. 🍕🍕🍕🍕🍕
On a Tuesday night, I ordered for delivery at 6:27PM... and received it at 9:02PM. Tried to cancel at 8:30PM (2 hours later) and they refused to cancel and refund my order. 2 1/2 hours for delivery?
Seriously one of the best brick oven pies I had. The eggplant appetizer is the off the charts
Excellent pizza. Easily the best on Long Island.
Very good pizza...can't wait to go back
I arrive at this superb restaurant many times since I like the special air that is characterizes this place. The team is awfuly friendly and professional. The service is extremely quick. Most important, the food you eat is excellent. I came often and I was never disappointed. The expense is decent. I suggest this restaurant to to all.
A beautiful little spot. The decorations are great and the food was great, too. The dough was cooked well, the mozzarella was good, the sausage was good, and it was perfectly filling. I'll definitely come here again.
Great tasty oven fresh pizza.
Authentic and good. Probably only real Italian style pizza on Long island
Thin crust, flash baked pizza in wood fired Napolitano style oven. Fresh and tasty ingredients are used and it makes a difference. Pies are cooked at 1000 degrees in 2 minutes. Perfection.
Over rated by some reviewers. Pizza was nothing special.
True thin crust. They even serve Sicilian panelle! Que buono!
This pizza is da bomb! Thin smoky crust, delicious sauce — like a thin crust version of New Haven Frank Pepe — which is a high compliment. I feel blessed to have this place in my area.
It was good. The pizza was wood fire cooked. Burned parts are to be expected. The pizza was a thin crust with good flavor. You could taste the extra flavors that a wood fire pizza gives you. The dough was chewy ( I liked) and the crust was very pronounced. The wait staff was very nice and the girl training that day was very nice. Beware, parking is a pain so plan accordingly. All in all. It was a good experience and I would recommend you go there.
We love this place. Cozy, delicious food. Might be the best pizza we've ever eaten. Small, intimate, like a little bistro in italy where u know the food will never disappoint. Wonderful service, Louis, never disappoints. Been there 3 times in the past 2 months, and going tonight. Even though we live in Nashville, when we come to LI, we stop at Naples!!!!!
This place has awesome pizza and there is a huge selection to choose from. Definitely one of our favorite pizza places.
Great brick oven pizza. Very small place. Seating was a bit tight, but it was ok. We tried a salad, a "basic" pizza, and the white pesto pizza.I would return there.----Edit 3/3/20 - Closed!? website and google says open, but a trip there to find it is closed. No hours posted on door. 1 star gone...
The pizza is terrific! I went with friends, and we shared four small pies, and had dessert. It was delicious. The service is great. The prices are decent.
Very unassuming from the outside, but don't go by that. The food is phenomenal. Delicious. The service was very good. Friendly. We had a delicious pizza. We opted for the large, which was perfect. We ordered one of the pasta dishes, Amazing! And we also had a calzone. Price was very reasonable. Definitely go!
We like a lot eating out. Yesterday we visited this excellent place which we didn’t know before. We passed a beautiful time there with high-qulity food and a professional stuff and an impressive chief cook. We added this restaurant in our list and we will no doubt go again very soon. We warmly recommend.
I have to say the Aurora Pizza was Fabulous . I would highly recommend the place
